Service Policies
How each Via51 service works — booking, payment, luggage, changes, and what we commit to.
Booking
Trips open for booking up to one month before departure. Book any time while the trip is open and seats remain. Online booking closes one hour before departure — after that, contact us directly and we'll accommodate if we can.
You'll receive a WhatsApp confirmation with your booking number. A reminder follows 24 hours before departure with your driver's name and number, the vehicle's make and plate, and pick-up instructions.
Payment
Cash, on board, before the trip begins. Additional payment methods are coming.
What's included
Your seat and standard luggage.
Who can book
Anyone can make a booking. If you're booking for someone else, share their contact number — we'll communicate with them directly from that point.
Passengers under 16 must travel with an accompanying adult.
Pick-up and drop-off
Each route has multiple pick-up and drop-off points. Choose yours at booking. The system is designed to keep the trip efficient — pick-ups and drop-offs happen in sequence along the route.
Group bookings
Booking multiple seats on the same trip is treated as multiple seat bookings under the same rules. To customise pick-up, route, or schedule, book full vehicle service instead.
Luggage
One large suitcase, and one personal item per passenger. All bags go in the back; the personal item travels with you.
Oversized or extra luggage: let us know at booking and we'll accommodate if there's room. Otherwise we may not be able to take it.
Weapons are not permitted. Nothing illegal or unsafe.
If you leave something in the vehicle, let us know and we'll do our best to return it.
Onboard
- No smoking or vaping — including the driver.
- Bottled and sealed drinks are fine. No open containers, no food.
- Keep phone calls brief and quiet. No loud conversations or music.
- Respect your fellow passengers and the driver.
- The driver has final authority on safety and conduct and may refuse boarding or end a trip in cases of unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
Route and stops
Seat trips follow a fixed route and schedule. We don't take requests for unscheduled stops, except for bathroom breaks. The driver may adjust the route for road conditions; this won't affect your booking.
We operate within Syria only.
What the driver will do
Arrive on time. Follow the route. Drive safely. Stay professional. Not smoke. Not make unscheduled detours.
Changes and cancellations
24 hours' notice for any change or cancellation, measured from scheduled departure.
Late cancellations and no-shows are tracked separately, but both count toward your record. Repeated late cancellations may result in losing access to the service.
If a passenger isn't at pick-up at departure time, we'll try to reach them. We'll wait up to 10 minutes. If we can't reach you or you're not there, the seat is released.
If Via51 cancels or postpones
We commit to running scheduled trips. If a trip is cancelled or postponed for any reason — including road or safety conditions — we'll rebook you on the next available trip at no cost. We give as much notice as possible, and at minimum 24 hours where we can.
Privacy
We use your name and phone number to manage your booking and stay in touch on the day of the trip. We don't share your information with anyone else.
Questions or issues
Reach us on the same WhatsApp number you booked through. We respond.
