Premium Economy — what it means
Via51 runs one class of service: Premium Economy. It's not the cheapest way to travel between Syrian cities, and it's not pretending to be. It's the service we'd build if we were the ones travelling — and that's the version we run.
Below is exactly what's included on every Via51 trip.
The vehicle
Your trip in a modern, 2025 or newer van. At launch all Via51 vans are Hyundai Staria.
Every van is built for 10. We limit every trip to 5. The space is the point. The middle seat stays empty on every trip, every time. No overcrowding, no "we'll just squeeze in one more."
The van is air-conditioned and maintained on a regular service schedule. It's cleaned between every trip.
The drivers
Drivers are trained, vetted, and employed directly by Via51. Not subcontracted, not freelancers picked up for the day. The same team that runs the schedule employs the people behind the wheel — which means a single chain of accountability for the trip you book.
You'll receive your driver's name and van plate on WhatsApp 24 hours before departure.
Pick-up and drop-off, in the city
Bus stations sit on the outskirts. A bus ticket is the bus ticket plus the taxi to the station plus the wait. Via51 picks you up in the city — at one of our designated pick-up points in your departure city.
The same on arrival: you're dropped off at one of our drop-off points, not at a terminal you then need to leave.
When you book, you'll see the pick-up points available in your departure city and pick the one closest to you. The same goes for drop-off.
Luggage you can actually bring
Each passenger gets one large suitcase, and one personal item. Real luggage allowance, not "fit it on your lap."
Booking, confirmation, and the trip
Book online. Pick your trip, add your name and WhatsApp number, and book your seat. No account, no card details, no deposit.
Your booking confirmation is generated immediately and will be sent to you on WhatsApp. Your driver details and van plate come 24 hours before departure on WhatsApp. Any trip updates — schedule changes, anything you need to know — come on WhatsApp. It's the channel Via51 uses end to end.
If you have a question before, during, or after the trip, you can reach customer support directly on WhatsApp. A real person, on a real channel, during working hours.
What you can count on
Trips leave on the published schedule.
